In decent condition with ex library stamps cards and notes, Punctures on protective dust jacket cover that go through slightly to actual cover. Looks like a dog got ahold of this dog book! The rest of the book is in beautiful shape with clean pages.

Three seemingly unrelated events - the sighting of a UFO; the escape of a wayward dog, and the discovery of a strange, six-footed animal -catapult Holton Dane, a young student who yearns to own a prosperous kennel, into a biological mystery.
A. M. Lightner is a naturalist by avocation. She has received plaudits for her humorous writing and for the skill with which she is able to weave her science background into her narrative. In Star Dog she tells of a hijacking on earth and an abduction into space in a science fiction story involving secrets unlocked by mental telepathy.
