Condition: gorgeous blue black and gold embossed and gilded cover and spine, title page is completely separated from book, chipping on some page edges, over gluing on front page, pages 429-432 are nearly ripped from the book,page 433 has pencil markings and smudge. Otherwise very nice interesting book with awesome illustrations and clean pages.
Contents: Rings from the earliest period, ring superstitions, secular investiture by the ring, rings in connection with ecclesiastical usages, betrothal and wedding rings, token rings, memorial and mortuary rings, posy inscription and motto rings, customs and incidents in connection with rings, remarkable rings.
